Projectile weight

Jump to navigation Jump to search

Projectile weight is the mass of the bullet, shell, grenade, or other projectile fired by a weapon. On weapon pages it is usually shown in grams and grains.

How It Is Used

Projectile weight is mostly a descriptive weapon stat. It helps show the difference between small pistol bullets, rifle bullets, shotgun projectiles, grenades, rockets, and other ammunition types.

A heavier projectile is not automatically better on its own. Damage, velocity, range behavior, fire rate, and weapon handling all matter when comparing weapons.
